what if i don’t know the type of journal i want to create?
That’s okay, you don’t need to have a specific type of journal in mind in order to learn from the Jot It Down digital course.
In fact, the course material will walk you through a number of different types of journals so you can see if there is a particular type that appeals to you.
i’m not convinced that journaling is for me. will this course help me figure that out?
Yes. The purpose of Jot It Down is to give you a fundamental overview of journaling, including the benefits and types of journaling.
The introductory video series will help you to see how journaling can help in many areas of your life.
And, the 7-Day journaling exercise gives you the opportunity to create your own “mini-journal” so you can experience it for yourself.
i’m worried that i won’t know what to write in my journal. will this course help me?
Yes. You’ll learn to identify which type of journaling might be best for you. Then, you’ll be provided with journal prompts and activities that will help you identify topics to journal about.
how long will it take to complete the course?
The course reading/video materials can be completed in a few hours.
Once you begin working through the Jot It Down Workbook, you’ll have activities and assignments, including a 7-Day journal.
If you complete the course as intended it will take about a week.
